What a day for Silver Olympic medalist Peder Fredricson! Winning the prestigious Swedish Sports Award, The Jerring price, is the absolute best achievement a sportsman can get in Sweden.
The award is special in the way that it allows the Swedish citizens to vote for the chosen nominees.
Peder thanked all his supporters and mentioned in particular his family, his sponsors, his team and all those who voted for him.
Rolf-Göran Bengtsson received the same award in 2011.
