Stars are out in magnificent LGCT Madrid

Rock sensation Bruce Springsteen was one of the many VIPs at the Longines Global Champins Tour event in Madrid at the Club de Campo to watch his daughter Jessica in action on her two top class horses.

Jessica, who has stamped her mark on the world of show jumping as top CSI5* competitor for the USA, is riding throughout the weekend and will compete both the Grand Prix and the upcoming Global Champions League Competition on Sunday, riding for her team – the Shanghai Swans.

The Star was taking time out from the European leg of his own tour, which will see the legend entertaining the local Madrid crowds in their thousands into the night on Saturday. Part of the 2016 River Tour, he’ll be playing at the famous home of Real Madrid, the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

As a regular attendee and fan of the sport, Bruce will no doubt be visitng more of the LGCT’s spectacular venues, with chic Chantilly, Cannes, Monaco and Paris all coming up in the next few weeks.

Springsteen was one of a number watching the afternoon’s sport unfold on Friday, as British Rider Laura Renwick dominated the opening day with two wins from two.
