The final week of the Summer Circuit of Knokke Hippique has started, and the selections for the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games next month have mostly been announced.
The 17th of August the Olympic team medals will be hand out and the 19th of August the new Olympic champion will be known. Just one week before most of the Olympic horses go into quarantine, they will compete at Knokke Hippique to maintain their shape. Not only the Belgian Olympic riders to be will compete in Knokke, also riders from the Netherlands, France, Germany, USA and Great Britain have chosen Knokke as their general for the Olympics.
