Marta Justiça, Equine Artist

When the subject is art, the portuguese artist Marta Justiça fits in an unconventional and predictable way. It’s noticeable, in each piece, a need for innovation and a constant search for something new.

The artist’s main theme is the horse, more specifically the Lusitano. In Portugal the equestrian tradition is a theme that deserves to be portrayed in a special way, according to the Artist. The pieces seek to portray the energy of the horse, and to be possible for each one of us to have the privilege of this approach.

“When it comes to art, I feel a constant need to create. So I am always trying to improve.”
