When Equilife photographer Jessica Rodrigues graduated from communication studies in Paris, she soon made her debut as a press attaché in the world of cinema and sports before specializing in
equestrian sports nine years ago. Attracted at the start to the photography rather than the jumping, she discovered the world of the horse through her camera, observing every detail with a new eye.
To capture these magic moments, she often has to stay behind the scenes, trying to be discreet and in the right place at the right time. Jessica’s job led her to Rio in 2016 where she covered the Olympic Games. The French victory allowed her to release her first book last year “A Dream in Gold.” The young photographer now continues her career by traveling the world and capturing the finest competitions of the international circuit for JumpFax, and the two magazines
even more sporting emotions.

“I am fascinated by the relationship between man and horse and all the emotions that emerge through the beautiful stories. I love to present all the magic moments that appear during the equestrian events.”
