This year, the French fashion house, which started as a saddle and harness workshop in Paris, is celebrating its deep connection with nature wit the ‘Nature at Full Gallop’ theme.

Last week, Hermès brought its celebration of this year’s theme to Oslo. As guests of the Hermés annual theme party, we entered a world of  fantasy and magic, where the unicorn reigns at a full moon and a mystical river unfolds. The guests were given a location to meet in the centre of Oslo. Upon arrival, the attendees were loaded into buses and driven off to an undisclosed location. In the middle of the forest, the location, or should we say installation of the night, was covered with leaves, with the sounds of birds singing and rain flowing setting the atmosphere in the beautiful Ekeberg park in Oslo. The gradual transcendence of colours from blues and greens to pinks and purples reflected the fluidic hues of the arctic skies when painted by the lights. Absolutely stunning! Enjoy the photo gallery.

“To reconcile ourselves with nature is to become reconciled with ourselves and with the world we live in, which is the home of humankind. This was Rousseau’s dream and this is also what we stand for at Hermès.”
